Oral diseases can interfere with everyday functions and overall health. These daily functions include activities such as breathing, eating, swallowing, speaking, and can possibly effect daily mood. Examples of alterations of moods include: being happy, looking sad, being uncomfortable smiling in public. Early prevention is key for the improvement of oral health and prevention of oral disease. Fluoridation, daily hygiene, dental sealants, regular visits, and examinations are central to a healthy mouth body and mind.
